Initial Consultation for New Patients
- Nature of Appointment: The initial appointment for new patients is a consultation to assess their needs and is not a commitment to provide ongoing psychiatric care.
- Your appointment time is reserved only for you. We do not "double book." Therefore, a fee of $200 applies for missed initial consultations or late arrivals which prevent completion of the intake (usually more than 10 minutes).
- Decision for Ongoing Care: Following the consultation, the doctor will decide whether our clinic can meet the patient's care needs on an ongoing basis.
Payment Policy
- Payment at Time of Service: Full payment is due when services are rendered.
- Accepted Payment Methods: We accept checks, cash, and credit cards.
- Insurance Claims: We file claims with insurers we accept. Patients are responsible for payment if insurance does not cover services within 60 days.

- Cancellation Fee: $100 for no-shows (including late arrivals after appointment time), cancellations, or rescheduling of follow-up appointments with less than 24 hours' notice.
- New Patient Appointments: A fee of $200 applies for missed consultations or late arrivals (more than 10 minutes).
- New Patient registration forms must be received at least 24 hours prior to the appointment. If not received by the deadline, the appointment will be canceled and a no-show fee of $200 will be assessed.
- Policy for No-Shows and Repeated Cancellations: Regular no-shows or cancellations may result in a reevaluation of your treatment arrangement and could result in termination of treatment.
